West London Better Homes Grants

West London boroughs offer grants to help landlords refurbish their properties to meet the Government’s Decent Homes Standard. Grants of up to 50% of the cost of works (to a maximum of £3,000 per unit) are now available across West London.

The types of work that can be funded include:
-Thermal Comfort
-Central heating
-General Repairs
-Kitchens
-Bathrooms
-Major health & safety hazards

This is a grant for landlords who let their property through council letting schemes, or the property is a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO).

The London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and
Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea currently offer this NEW grant which is designed to help both landlords and tenants in the private rented sector.

For more information contact your local council.
